MISSION STATEMENT Blessed Sacrament School is an inner city, elementary school located in New York City. Our purpose is to educate children in the Catholic tradition to become responsible citizens who are enabled assume the challenges of the 21st century. Our parish, school administrators and staff, together with parents, strive to motivate our students to discover, solve, create, and achieve in all areas of their lives – religious, educational, social, and psychological. Within an atmosphere of caring discipline, our students’ self-esteem And respect for others is developed and nurtured by our value-centered commitment to Christian teaching. In addition, we promote a multi-cultural awareness and acceptance among our students by welcoming and supporting the diverse cultural and economic populations of our community. Finally, the Blessed Sacrament community recognizes and responds to the fact that all are equal and created in the image and likeness of God.. |
