As your child's last year at Blessed Sacrament School begins, we would like you to be aware of several important events that will be taking place throughout the year. Since we realize that it may be difficult to cover the costs of these events, the due dates have been spread out over the school year.
TACHS Test Fee: $52 Due: September 28, 2011
The TACHS test is scheduled for Friday, November 05, 2011. This test, along with your child's 6th, 7th, & 8th grade report cards, is used by the Catholic high schools to determine admission. The students will be registered for the TACHS test as a group by the school; please DO NOT register on-line or by phone.
TACHS Prep Course: $250 Due: September 23 & October 14, 2011
Participation in the TACHS Prep Course is optional. The course will run from 2:45 to 5:00 pm on the following dates: September 27th, 28th, 29th October 4th, 5th, 6th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 25th, 26th, 27th
Class Rings: $43-$84 (based on your choice) Due: November 07, 2011
Students will be measured for their rings in school and an informational flyer and order form will be sent home at a later date. Ring Day is tentatively scheduled for the First Friday February 3, 2012.
Dinner-Dance: approximately $65 -$75 Due: February 2012
The 8th Grade Dinner-Dance will take place on Thursday, May 24, 2012. Further information will be sent home at a later date.
Class Trip: approximately $75-$80 Due: February/March 2012
Last year, the graduating class raised several hundred dollars to help keep down the cost of their trip. We ask that our current 8th grade parents continue to be supportive of these efforts to make the trip even more affordable.
Graduation Fee: $80 Due: April 2012
The Graduation Mass/Ceremony will be held on Friday evening, June 15, 2012 at 7:00 pm in the Church. Each graduate will receive eight tickets.
Please be reminded that in order for your child to participate in any graduation activities(trip, dance & ceremony), your account must be up to date by May 10th; this includes tuition, late fees, fund raising fees, lunch fees, etc.
