The Seven Catholic Sacraments The Latin word sacramentum means "a sign of the sacred." The seven sacraments are ceremonies that point to what is sacred, significant and important for Christians. They are special occasions for experiencing God's saving presence. That's what theologians mean when they say that sacraments are at the same time signs and instruments of God's grace. The Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist are normally celebrated in the second grade. Preparation for these sacraments is integrated into both the school and the Religious Education Program
Private Reconciliation is available on Saturdays between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m.

Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation is administered to Seventh Grade students and those older that have prepared for and wish to celebrate this sacrament. Confirmation preparation is integrated into both the Religious Education Program for Public School Students and the School Curriculum.
